Comfortable beds and friendly staff.

We booked the Grampian Hotel for an overnight stay in Perth and were not disappointed with our stay.Our check in was put through early by a very pleasant young man named Harry who also tookour order for the next days breakfast.The room was nice and warm on a very cold day.Our breakfast was very good however this was the only part of our stay which was a bit of a mystery as the breakfast room was only open between 07:30 and 09:00and I think this is very early especially on a Saturday morning.I think they could open breakfast for another hour to allow guests a lie in if they want it.

Great we stay. Room a little dated. View not great from room window, looking onto a flat roof. That's all we could see.i think that's the reason curtains were closed and most of the furniture was across window.That didn't spoil our stay as room was clean and spacious. Staff were all amazing and food was second to none. I would recommend this hotel as you gey what you pay for. I'd give hotel a bit more than a 3 star. Hotel clean and exceptionally tidy.

Had a very pleasant overnight stay at The Grampian Hotel.Bedroom was clean and spacious, amenities in the room were good.Dined at the Shimla restaurant which was excellent.Breakfast was good.If returning to Perth we will try The Grampian again.

Warm and friendly greeting when we arrived.Room was clean and tidy but could maybe do with an upgrade and a wardrobe.Toilet seat was slack but was fixed as soon as I mentioned it.Bed was great,room was warm.Staff were excellent, great Indian restaurant attached,nice bar and breakfast was spot on.If ever in Perth again would definitely stay at the Grampian.

This is a great choice if you are staying in Perth. Our room was comfortable and warm .Staff were great. Good breakfast as well. My husband had a meal in the onsite restaurant and was very impressedExcellent value for money we'll definitely use again.

The Grampian Hotel was an excellent choice to stay in Perth. Its location is just a short walk from the city centre.Although the room was a bit small, the hotel is a lovely cozy place with excellent Breakfast and top notch India restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

stayed for three nights found the staff very friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and warm. It was also on the same side as the main road but never really noticed any noise from the road. Ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel on the first night and enjoyed the meal so much that we had another meal on the third night and would definitely recommend you give it a try. Hotel is also close to shops bars and the train station. Hope to be back in the not to distant future.

Areas of hotel have been refurbished. Room was clean and bathroom was really new with lovely shower and no touch tap, although couldn't control temperature of water from the tap!! Bed comfortable and tea and coffee provided. Had a lovely evening meal and were provided with a great breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at while traveling. The staff was very hospitable, the food was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, I will definitely be staying here again on return trips.

Very comfortable hotel . The Nepalese restaurant made a great addition. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The only downside was the bathroom rad.

We had a great experience: the staff is just so supportive and lovely, the rooms recently renovated and a nice bathroom. We ate dinner there as well, very tasty if you like Indian cuisine ( we love is). We would come back any time.

On a cold wet evening the Grampian hotel offered a pleasant sanctuary. Very friendly staff, large comfortable room, excellent Nepalese food. In the morning the Scottish breakfast was first class.

It's a nice hotel with lovely Nepalese/Indian food.

On arrival parking was a bit hit and miss but we did manage to eventually when other customers had thinned out. Booking in was routine and the staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean throughout with good tea and coffee facilities. The initial problems over lack of towels was quickly rectified. Overall we had a pleasant stay in a very hotel anw would recommend a stay there to others.

It is a good place to stay when visiting Scotland. The hotel is old but the staff works hard to make sure everything is ok. I would highlight first of all the staff, extremely friendly and helpful, especially Harry. Secondly, the location, the hotel is very close to the bus and train stations, bus stops and supermarkets. Thirdly, the room was comfortable and clean with an added extra such as a small refrigerator. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The hotel has a Nepalese-Indian restaurant which is excellent.Only the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but no too bad.Perfect value for money.We Will recommend It.

The hotel is in a great location with parking in front. The staff work really hard and are lovely. Our room was spacious, clean and had loads of tea and coffee available. A great shower/bath and an abundance of hanging space. I will definitely stay here again.

From check in to departure excellent service from all staff. Room and bathroom cleaned to high standard and comfortable. Breakfast is ordered previous evening which not everyone likes to do but it means it is freshly cooked for you rather than buffet service with other guests coughing over the food. If you want to stay somewhere that is not part of a generic chain then the Grampian is a good choice and good value. Note if you have a car arrive early as parking is limited. We enjoyed our stay.

Although we only stayed for 1 night we had a lovely stay. Easy to get to, really close to the City Centre and we got free parking. The place is spotless, the staff are really lovely and helpful and they have a good sized bar and restaurant. Our room was really nice with a very comfy bex and a very modern bathroom with a superb shower. We opted to eat in the restaurant and our nepalese evening meal was outstanding. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of buffet options as well as a good old cooked breakfast. A lovely experience all round and will certainly stay again.

Lovely friendly hotel, staff treat you great and make your stay very enjoyable. Food cooked from the Nepalese kitchen is brilliant. Great choice for breakfast, we had full English two days in a row, however first was brilliant, second time was mediocre. Very comfortable bed, large room and bathroom, fixtures and fittings a bit worn but this didn't bother us. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Location is very good, less than a 5min stroll to town centre 👍👍👍

Me and my friend have enjoyed our stay at the Grampian hotel, staff really nice and helpful breakfast was lovely our room was nice with plenty off facilities teas coffee etc toilet was nice and clean with shower plenty off towels, only problem was trying to adjust the automatic tap for the water between cold and hot but it wasn't a problem.

Great Location close to everything. Reception was quick and easy and helped with our bags. Came in late from a night out and the chef was about to leave and he made us a small curry to share which was delicious. Breakfast was great the next morning. Rooms are nice with comfy bed. Good hot shower as well.

I would recommend staying there nice and clean, I have a bar and lounge area to relax, I would recommend the restaurant the best food we've had on outstay.

We stayed the night at Grampian Hotel in Perth after arriving way early.The staff were very helpful and they graciously stored our luggage while we explored Perth.After a perfect day of exploring and dinner with our Scottish friends, we returned to Grampian and were treated with smiles.The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet.The breakfast in the morning was awesome as well.

Lovely old house, recently redecorated, but still retains original features.Rooms aren't huge - this isn't a Premier Inn - although comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Shower was cool, but usable. Bedding is pristine and gorgeous. Could do with privacy coverings for the windows, which don't have wonderful views, only rooftops and other bedrooms.Plug points are in strange places, probably due to the age of the building.Breakfast is excellent. Cannot be faulted, everything that you want and more, and expertly cooked.Hotel is also an Indian/Nepalese restaurant, so the air is heavy with the scent of eastern spices.

Hotel was basic with room that was small and very hot due to weather and being unable to open windows due to busy road outside Hacd meal in restaurant. Excellent meal and obviously very popular both with people dining in and take away service Breakfast in morning very good choices.

Reception staff were very welcoming as were the rest of the staff.We had a pleasant stay in a comfortable room (No.16). Outlook wasn't so nice as we overlooked a flat roof but was ok as rooms at front had busy road to look at.Bathroom was nice and clean but sink tap was automatic and you couldn't control flow or temperature as water was never hot.Bath taps were manually adjustable so we're ok.Tea/coffee facilities available in room, comfortable bed with crisp sheets and pillows. Nice white fluffy towels.Breakfast had buffet style for cereals etc.Cooked items were pre ordered night before.All in all a pleasant stay.

Chose this hotel on both location and price. It did not disappoint. The room was small but clean, warm and comfortable. The en suite looked brand new and the shower was excellent. Only slight problem was the automatic tap on the washbasin.We couldn't work out how to operate it and sometimes got cold water when we wanted hot and vice versa!Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice on the buffet table and our pre selected cooked breakfast was excellent. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This was our second time at this establishment and I do like staying here.The staff are3 warm and professional, therooms are large and clean as are the bathrooms, and its well worth going to the Nepalese restaurant attached to the hotel.The bar area has a pool table and there is parking out the front.Would certainly recommend.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel. The facilities were great, bed very comfy, room lovely and cosy. Modern bathroom all very clean. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious for our date night, could not recommend it enough. What a pleasure to be welcomed with warmth on a bitter cold night. Night away as car due MOT at Peter Vardy Perth. Anyway, room was nice but having disabilities a bit far but nessecittes were needed. No ground floor rooms,bar, restaurant and reception. Was greeted by young polite ngentleman but only pointed way to rooms. Stair lighting wasn't on at arrival but after seeing room and on way down for evening meal lights had been put on. Evening meal was absolutely delicious but not included in stay but not a problem. Room was warm, bath time was a blessing aching old bones warmed through then cut to back of leg due to a nail sticking out of bed base. Informed reception and showed him picture of offending item. But other than some minor flaws a totally enjoyable evening away and would totally do it again.

Stayed 8/12/2023 to 11/12/2023 in room 19, even though looking onto busy Glasgow road i noise disturbance. Room serviced daily clean towels, tea bags milk and sugar topped up. Room spotless and staff great very helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast. Didn’t use restaurant as very plain eater and Nepalese Indian food served.On speaking to other gusts and locals all gave restaurant excellent review’s. Stayed at The Grampian once before. It has since been taken over and renovated well however I understand it now has an Indian restaurant which has good reviews but all the food photos in the windows distracts the overall initial impression as to the inside. We stayed in an executive double which was very large and beautifully decorated with a very clean comfortable bed with lovely new bathroom.However the lack of a wardrobe may be an issue to guests staying for more than a couple of days. Would definitely return.

Very easy to drive to and a bonus having parking.Within easy walking distance of Concert Hall etc.Lovely spacious room.Plenty of food available at breakfast but porridge was very runny!The thermostat on radiator in bedroom couldn’t be turned down or off which meant room was too warm for us, but others might not be bothered by that.As room was at front of hotel it was very noisy.

Great to come back to the Grampian Hotel having stayed here in August. Friendly welcoming staff. The hotel has good facilities a bar and restaurant where we had a 5 star Nepalese curry twice while staying here delicious both times. Our room was homely and spacious andwell presented and was great for our needs. Thanks again for having us stay with you we will be back.

This hotel had changed owners since we booked and is now a hotel with an Indian & Nepalese restaurant on the ground floor. This wasn't a problem, except that the photo on Booking.com didn't match the hotel we arrived at!Our room and en-suite were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. The bedding was pristine and a delight to sink into.The hotel itself is a little jaded in places - eg, the white painted woodwork could do with a thorough clean - but this was no detriment to the visit.The staff are efficient, courteous, and helpful.The owner/manager is a really friendly person, very easy to talk to.The breakfast was wonderful! Really enjoyed everything that we ate.If we hadn't already booked our evening meal at a local pub, we would have stayed here and sampled the new restaurant, which is receiving rave reviews from local folk.

This hotel is lovely and the staff very helpful.the only criticism is this, as the name suggests the Grampian hotel is Scottish and the lounge and bar are decorated in tartan Andreally nice, but the music was terrible, I m sure guest would prefer as background music some Scottish music.As I looked through the visitors book the guests camefrom far and wide ,Australia,Canada,Germany Italy Holland and serval more and I am sure they would prefer that than the music that was playing.l know they have a Indian restaurant attached but please think of the guests. This hotel is very comfortable, convenient and the staff very courteous and helpful.

Lovely welcome including complimentary fruit juice on arrival. Very clean comfortable and well equipped room. An easy ten minute walk into the city centre. Efficient breakfast service. What really stands out about the Grampian is the exceptional friendliness of the staff. They were all charming.

Our room was quite large, with twin beds, a coffee table and 2 easy chairs. We enjoyed the space while relaxing watching TV. Breakfast of your choice was great and we ate Nepalese cuisine at their restaurant one evening and enjoyed it a lot.

Excellent staff, nothing too much trouble, very polite, helpful, accommodating.Food lovely,rooms very clean and comfortable.Great time had by us all.Many thanks to all staff

The room was spacious and quiet despite a very convenient location on a major street. The mattress was too firm and the only blanket was much too warm for the summer weather. Breakfast was included with a nice selection on the buffet. The bathroom was very nice and seemed recently renovated. Staff was helpful.

We were travelling from Derby up to the Moray coast of Scotland and needed an overnight stop.We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the hotel.We booked in, completed the breakfast menu selection form, and were taken to our room.The room was very large, as was the on suite. Decoration was a little tired, but not shabby, and most things worked. (except the qulity desk fan and turning off the power shower)As the room was so large it was surprising to us that there wasonly a few coat hangers on a couple of hooks in the wall to hang clothes on. There was plenty of room for a wardrobe!It was also a little on the dark side for my vision impaired Wife due to the time of day and the limited light getting in through the onewindow. The main light more than made up for the lack of natural light.Breakfast service was accurate, speedy and freindly. There was plenty of choice of cereals, pastries, fruit, and drinks.My cooked breakfast was excellent.The restaurant and bar were closed during our stay for refurbishment.On the whole I would recommend for an overnight stay. If all facilities were available it could be good value for a longer stay.

Like many Scottish hotels, this is older building but is maintained.Staff very friendly. Room clean, beds okay. updated bath. We had room for three adults.Brealfast was very good.Excellent service.This is good hotel for the price.Parking is spotty in front of hotel. If full you are told to park across street at closed business and move your vehicle before they open 8AM.

Hotel is under new management and is being done up.However we had a very pleasant 1 night stay. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room could do with some cosmetic paint treatment but was cosy, comfy and the little extra touches were great from the bottles of toiletries, toothpaste and bottles of water. We stayed for just the one night. The staff were really night and the room much bigger than I thought it would be. The choice at breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit including avocados, yogurt, pancakes and nuts and seeds as well as cooked breakfast. I will certainly stay here again as it was great value for money.They even supplied toothpaste and brush in the Toilet as well as earplugs.It was spotless.

I had a lovely stay at the Grampian Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, letting me work from downstairs after I checked out.The rooms were lovely and clean. It seemed noise did travel around the floor and I could hear other guests but I had no issues (and I'm a very light sleeper!).The staff were sometimes tough to get a hold of - no staff at the front desk at times because they were elsewhere on the property and no bell/phone number as far as I could see, but wasn't an issue for me.The breakfast was lovely!

Surprisingly good, large room and bathroom, clean, warm and quiet. Some areas of the hotel are in need of decoration (but which hotel isn't these days). Excellent breakfast offering. Would stay again.

Well located, old style Scottish hotel, including the requisite squeaky floorboards. 10 minute stroll into Perth centre.Fair sized, very clean room (room 20). Actually visible in the picture of the hotel frontage with the 3 large windows on the left.Although on a main artery into Perth, the noise was negligible, no need for the supplied ear plugs.A large comfy bar area with tv and pool table (not the best table ever...)Decent breakfast, the cooked element of which has to be selected the previous evening.We spoke to a couple who had stayed there many times over the years and they loved it.Handy for Perth swimming pool, railway and bus stations too.Good value for money and well worth a visit.

The hotel disappointed they did not offer evening meals as it was early in the season but they will start beginning of may.The breakfast was first class with cereal and cooked breakfast to your requirements, we had a king size bed and lovely night, the bar had a good selection as well. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly.They were very accommodating when we arrived early. They welcomed us and let us into our rooms early. We were staying in small double rooms, one person to a room. The shower room was newly done and lovely.Plenty hot water, heating etc. The breakfast was fabulous with delicious coffee. Stayed here for one night as had funeral to go to! I must say this hotel is lovely and clean in fact it is spotless! The young man at reception was very friendly and polite and even showed us to our room! We filled in our breakfast form on arrival and our food was cooked to perfection in morning! Very varied choice and lots on the breakfast bar, pancakes, croissants, cakes, fruit, yogurts, cereals, juices! As much coffee and teas as you want from machine which looked quite expensive! I would highly recommend this hotel and the owners should be very proud of the staff!

We had a disaster travelling during the snow storms and luckily this beautiful hotel was available the same night with a decent price and breakfast included! We adored the king sized bed and it was super comfy! The owners were really friendly and helped us with our luggage and escorted us to the room, the breakfast in the morning was lush! Stayed overnight in the Grampian and it was a lovely stay. I'll use the adage "Don't just a book by its cover" as initially we wondered if we had got it wrong. Limited parking and right on the main street made check in challenging, but no issue once through the door. The hotel and rooms were spotless and well decorated. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were closed, but you are a 5 minute walk from a multitude of good bars and restaurants, which cater for all tastes. Breakfast was a hearty cooked one, freshly made as you advise the reception the night before what time you will be down to eat in the morning. A bit of a rabbit warren to negotiate, especially with lots of cases, but again the staff couldn't do enough and took all our large cases for us. A great night's sleep in a comfy, well appointed room. Will happily stay there again when next in Perth

Stayed just the one night as we were attending a party locally. Lovely and cosy which was the best welcome as freezing outside. Room was clean and comfortable and cooked breakfast was delicious- even had fresh raspberries as part of the fruit choice and coffees were tasty. All in all excellent value for money and if we are back in Perth we would definitely stay here again .

Very easy to find, near the city centre and obviously recently redecorated . Very comfortable, cosy room with everything you need provided. The room we were in overlooked a busy street but ,if you’re used to hearing traffic at night, quite acceptable and quieter between 11pm and 7am. Excellent breakfast included.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and were pleasantly impressed by the warm reception we received and the comfort of the property. The room was large, well furnished and extremely clean. It was very quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping in it’s comfortable king size bed. The owners were still in the process of refurbishment of the restaurant, and was only available for breakfast, but I’m sure it will be superb once complete. It was only set up for breakfast when we were there but the service and food served was of a high standard. You are only a short 10 minute walk from the High street and most of Perths shops. Next door and behind you’ll find a large supermarket. Parking is available at the hotelbut remember and turn sharp left at the traffic lights if you are coming in to the property from Glasgow and the south side. All in al a wonderful stay and we will be using this hotel again.

Well located hotel near the bus and train station and downtown.They offered a great breakfast, clean rooms, and always helped you with your luggages or when needed a service.They also informed me that their restaurant will reopen very soon with local dishes.Very good price too.

The hotel is in a super central location yet also quiet in the evening. Facilities were excellent and the rooms have been done up to a high standard. Staff were helpful and efficient and made us feel welcome. The breakfast room is lovely, spacious and bright and the breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere of the old hotel has been kept whilst updating to a modern high standard.

A traditional hotel, near the centre of Perth - a good location for most things locally. The property has been looked after with care, and the standard of housekeeping is very high. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The room (family room) was bigger than average, nicely decorated, a comfortable place to be, and like all of the hotel very clean. Breakfast is pre-ordered, and cooked to order, with a good choice on offer. Sadly, the hotel cannot offer dinner at the moment. Excellent value for money.

We had a lovely and very comfortable 3 night stay at Grampian Hotel in a very large family room.The room was very clean and welcoming with toiletries, toothbrushes, slippers, plentiful supplies of tea and coffee an bottles of water.Breakfast is ordered the evening before but cooked freshly when you arrive and is good.The staff here are amazing - welcomed with a soft drink, bags carried to the room and available to carry at the end of stay too.Room well serviced daily and a smiling welcome at the end of each day. We will certainly return.

The hotel is easy to find and in a good location, being an easy walk from the centre with pubs and restaurants nearby. Parking is right out front within feet of the entrance. The staff are efficient and welcoming. Our twin rooms were reasonably spacious with good facilities. The breakfast was good and the service efficient.

This hotel is a jewel …the staff are amazing from the minute you walk through the doors. They go above and beyond and one special experience was coming back from our night to find a sumptuous birthday cake and card from the staff as it was my husbands birthday weekend. A truly touching moment and so gratefully appreciated 🥰 Our only negative comments would be that the room we had overlooked basically a flat roof part of hotel …we would have preferred a room to the front and also the hanging space was extremely higher than your average 5ft 2 and 5ft 8 humans …it did make us laugh though so really not all bad 😂The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice - we will definitely stay again as the walk into Perth was lovely and basically took all of 10 mins. High praise to the owners of this jewel - the gruelling hard work you all do to achieve this - you really are remarkable.

Nice and clean. High quality furnishings for a three star in the deluxe, which was a nice big room. Friendly and very helpful staff. A nice breakfast spread, traditional bar with pool table. Slightly old fashioned, no lifts, no gym/ spa facilities. But overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great staff with positive attitude to their customers. Unfortunately no lift so stairs for older people are not ideal. Room was comfy but noisy as it faced busy main road

Stayed for a night whilst attending Tabletop Scotland.The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable.We even had a bath in the bathroom!Breakfast was also really good.Will stay here again.

I stayed at the Grampian for a long weekend whilst visiting family in the area with my wife, parents and 1 year old daughter. Firstly the location is superb. Just a short walk from the train station and the high street as well as the beautiful River Tay. We had two rooms including a family room which offered plenty of space and firm but very comfortable beds. The rooms offered everything that you need for a short break with my only minor criticism being the rather outdated bathroom. That being said it was clean which is all that really matters. Breakfast was not spectacular but was good enough to keep the family happy and full. The highlight was the staff who were warm and friendly from start to finish. They were wonderful with my daughter and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be back on our next visit to Perth.

Nice older hotel, rooms are furnished in a traditional style. Hotel is not barrier-free. Staff is nice and helpful, seems to be mostly family-run. Cooked breakfast was good.Location is convenient, only 5 minutes walk downtown/train/Tay river/shopping mall etc. Bus stop in front of the hotel. Grocery store etc. next door.Good stay, we will come back.

The hotel has recently been refurbished and i found it very comfortable as a 'first time customer'. it was also very well located.I was with friends for the rewind festival and have rebooked for next year. 2 comments I would like to make are it would be better if the breakfsst time could be later Saturday and Sunday and a bit disappointing the bar was not open?

Small hotel with limited car parking and possibly in need of some investment. However, the staff were very attentive and polite. The accommodation though basic, was quite comfortable and reasonably priced. I will be returning and would recommend.

Lovely cosy welcoming hotel, staff are helpful and kind. The restraunt was closed for renovations so didn't get to try that however the breakfast was superb. We will definitely chose this hotel for any future Perth stays.

We stayed in room 25 at this hotel, the room was very spacious with a king size bed, large tv and a mini bar.Limited car parking is available onsite and this was a real bonus.Breakfast was first class.Location was good.and was within walking distance of bars, shops and restaurants.The staff were very polite and friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Thank you for the friendly, smiley hospitality.It is very much appreciated.Unfortunately I thought the breakfast slot was too early and too short, I think the other guests felt that too. Usually the breakfast slot might be early if business men were staying,however it would be longer so folks on holiday didn't need to get up too early. The toiletries seemed to be replaced each day which was unnecessary and will cost you guys more in the long run.The towels in the bathroom seemed quite small,ie not bath towels.Lovely big room which was nice and quiet as requested, thank you.Would recommend. Arrived early and our room was ready which was a good surprise. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was very clean as was all other parts of the hotel we used. Breakfast was first class. Every kind of preference was catered forLocation was good.within walking distance of all we wanted. We would definitely recommend this small hotel to anyone.

Clean rooms and nice breakfast, good soft beds and plenty of towels. Could do with some small repairs ie wallpaper near door coming away.

Hotel was rather datedroom next to main road so didn't sleep well also was too hot couldn't open window for traffic .. breakfast was very good tho &,lad on receptionwas helpful

Excellent location for city centre. Really nice friendly staff and hotel was really clean and we had a nice room. Very good breakfast. All round, ideal for our short weekend break, the weather was a bonus for the jubilee celebrations.

Clean and organized. Close to city center. Good breakfast.

This hotel was perfect for us. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful ( he did however have some difficulty understanding us and we him, but we managed.) The room was spotless. As was the rest of the hotel. A full breakfast of your choice was well done. Our room was made up each day, the only hotel to do this on our 2 week trip. The hotel was quiet even siting so close to the road. A short walk takes you downtown. The evening dining room and bar were not in operation as they were unable to staff it at this time. We highly recommend staying here. We would do so again.

When visiting family, I had an overnight stay at the Grampian. Recently refurbished, and very clean and tidy, I had a relaxed and peaceful night, followed by a good and varied choice of breakfast. I'll be back.

Start at the beginning...Check in was easy and took no time at all. Was shown to our room rather than just being left to find it ourselves.The room was as advertised, a small double with en suite. Everything in its place, and a.place for everything. Bed was comfortable, could never be said to be too soft. Duvet was thick and warm.The en suite had wash hand basin,toilet and shower. The shower was fantastic,blasting away the aches of walking round the city.Breakfast was certainly filling, with a selection of cereals, juices, yoghurts and pastries, followed by a cooked breakfast. I had the lot because I'm a greedy so and so.All in all, a good hotel that is to be recommended.

This was a perfect overnighter for us - walking distance to bars, restaurants and sights. There is free parking right out front and the staff are fantastic and the breakfast was excellent.There are stairs to the rooms.

Returned to The Grampian Hotel for our 3rd visit, it's friendly, clean, comfortable, food is lovely, not too much trouble for the staff, young lass who was always on duty was amazing, we will return.

We stayed at the Grampian Hotel for two nights and it is easy to find, well situated and a very handy location to base local sight-seeing, shopping and exploring Perthshire. Very nice staff who had a welcoming manner. The food was excellent and you couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience. We will be going back to the Grampian Hotel again within the year.

I was only staying one night, with a recent dreadful experience elsewhere i was worried i may encounter something similar. Well was i surprised from the welcoming staff, the comfortable and oh so clean room i can't fail to mention the crisp, fresh bed linen, and comfortable bed. The room was well appointed for my needs and believe me i'm very critical of accommodation. This was good, nay excellent.Breakfast, fresh, piping hot, good quality, i can only say superlatives fail me.Well done folks, i will be back.

the Grampian is right on a busy road, so the rooms can be quite loud if you're a light sleeper - however the staff are really lovely and the breakfast was excellent!

Staff so helpful and went that extra mile .We would definitely stay agsin .Fabulous

A girlfriend and I decided to attend the races in Perth and do some site seeing. The Grampian Hotel location made for an easy walk from the train station and convenient to walk to the City Center. The staff could not have been more helpful and the owner even gave us winning tips for the track! The breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely choose again!

Thank you for the wonderful afternoon we all had today.The service provided by yourself was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, could definelty tell it was fresh cooked to perfection and very hot. Pass on my compliments to the chef.We were able to sit and chat all afternoon without being rushed, like in other establishments, and it was perfect for us as we were having a good catchup.I will definetly return in the very near future.Once again, thank you for your hospitality.

Good hotel -well positioned on main road and easy to find. Large spacious room but a bit dated and no double glazing so could be a bit noisy on road outside.Very enjoyable 'full Scottish breakfast' and plenty toast. Good service from staff.

Thanks for your review, we only have 2 rooms in the whole hotel that aren\'t double glazed and they have been fitted with a magnetic secondary glazing system. We don\'t normally have anyone say that they can hear anything from outside in those rooms. We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel again soon.
